Puerto Rico/ St. Thomas (:

It was in the summer of 2010 when me and my aunt china were going to the Islands. St. Thomas to be exact. We were going to be gone for a whole week. No service, No Internet and I couldn’t really contact my parents. My parents drove us to the airport. I could see the tears in my mother’s eyes because she was really going to miss me.

We arrived at the airport I told my mom and dad goodbye. My aunt and I got on the airplane  and we were on our way to the Islands. It was raining and alot of people were at the airport. We had to stay at a hotel in Puerto . We were so sleepy on the escalator It was going down and i was going up. Everyone laughed at me. We went to sleep.

The next day we had breakfast and we got on the next airplane to the islands. When we got their i saw my grandpa I was so excited we went to  his house. The next day we went to stores everyone had a accent just like my grandfather. We went snorkeling and then to the zoo. Everyone knew my grandfather.

I was really excited to be their but i missed my mother and father it felt like i been their for a year already. But it was really only Tuesday. My cousin Brittney, my grandpa, my uncle, and aunt we all went out. We went to my grandfather’s karate class he owns two. It was really cool.

It was finally Sunday. My aunt and I were about to leave. My grandfather drove us to the airport and we were about to be home. hours and hours later still waiting to be home i was getting impatient. Finally we were home and i was glad to see my parents. That was a trip to remember.

  1. HI Ariel! My name is Amanda and I am in eight grade and went on a similar trip to the one you went on. In 2010, my family and I visited Ocho Rio in Jamacia! It was lie your trip because it is one of the islands by St. Thomas. My parents are also going on a cruise to St. Thomas. What were some of the things you did there? What did you enjoy about your experiences there?
    Thanks and happy blogging!
